Effective Electrical was established in 2010 by Nick Briody and Luke Quarrell. These two A Grade Electricians continue to wholly own the company, along with an associated company Ballarat Solar Panels.
Effective Electrical specialise in the design and installation of Off Grid Solar Power supply systems. This can be to power rail level crossings, or similar types of infrastructure. Or it can be to power houses, sheds, and other types of premises that are not connected to the electricity grid.
Effective Electrical perform electrical works for local government authorities, including City Councils, and Rail companies eg. V/Line and ARTC.
Effective Electrical also design and install grid connected solar systems on domestic or commercial premises.
Rather than using a sales team, our solar systems are designed by A Grade electricians who also work on the installation of the solar systems they design. This saves time and efficiency during both the design process and the installation, ensuring that the system is compliant, fit for purpose, and with sufficient capacity for both current and future power needs.
Effective Electrical and Ballarat Solar Panels are proud to be able to sponsor sporting groups within our local community. They provide sponsorship to Learmonth Football Netball Club and to the Ballarat Hockey Association.
They are supporters of not for profit groups including Fifteen Trees – a Landcare backed tree planting project, Ballarat Trans Gender Swap Shop, FECRI, and the McGrath Foundation among others.
Effective Electrical are also proud to offer employment to apprentices in the electrical industry. Our employees come from a diverse range of backgrounds, and we support women in management roles, as well as both younger and mature aged apprentices and qualified electricians.
